Vistara Airlines got bomb threat and plane diverted to Turkey

 

Vistara Airline flight from Mumbai to Frankfurt diverts to Turkey due to Bomb threat on the aircraft.

Vistara flight UK27 landed at the Erzurum airport at around 7:05 pm (local time). And the Turkish officials begins its search operations.The Bomb threat of Vistara airline from Mumbai to Frankfurt flight diverted to Erzurum airport for an emergency landing on Friday. 

According to Turkish officials, a piece of paper with Bomb on Board word written on it was found in the aircraft lavatory on the aircraft. On the Vistara UK27 flight carrying 234 passengers and 13 crews to Frankfurt.

On 11:30 pm (local time), Turkish airport officials said, we have completed all the search and examinations operations. As a result of the work we found that the bomb threat was unfounded. After this incident additional security arrangements at the airports were lifted. As per the statement from the airline, crews, passengers of that aircraft were cleared by security agencies and all the required checks were conducted for the safety of the aircraft. Additionally the company also said that the sending an alternate aircraft to turkey by 12:25 am (local time) on Saturday to carry passengers to their destination to Frankfurt airport in Germany.
